Credit union investment program awarded at LPL’s annual Program Leadership Conference

Herndon, VA — Northwest Financial Advisors (NWFA) claimed the #1 spot for financial institution-based investment programs at LPL Financial’s annual Program Leadership Conference for top bank and credit union executives. Karen Benedict, Northwest Financial Advisors’ Sr. VP and program manager, was in attendance and accepted the award.

Northwest Financial Advisors is a subsidiary of NW Capital Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northwest Federal Credit Union, a $3.5 billion credit union serving more than 260,000 members. “We’ve done a tremendous amount of work in the last several years to develop and enhance our program, and this took the cooperation of all of our team members to accomplish,” Benedict said. “I’m proud of our program and delighted to receive LPL’s recognition and support.”

Kevin Fisher, president & CEO of Northwest Financial Advisors, said, “After a challenging year in the financial markets, it is a pleasure to see our firm receive this honor. It is evidence of the strong relationships our advisors have formed with our clients. These trusted and enduring partnerships are the true reason our program has been so successful.”
